DATAlife was in Brussels on November 26 and 27 to attend the second edition of the EDIH Network Summit. This event brings together the main actors of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) network, including representatives of several thematic working groups, national authorities and expert groups.

The summit aimed to provide top-level information on key topics such as the challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as facilitate in-depth discussions on practical topics through good practices for digital transformation and innovative solutions in multiple areas:

  • agri-food
  • construction
  • cybersecurity
  • digital health
  • smart connectivity

Attendees had the opportunity to participate in workshops, panel discussions, and networking sessions designed to foster collaboration and share best practices. In addition, it had an awards ceremony where the EDIH Network recognized the most outstanding success stories of the network.

DATAlife had the opportunity to meet personally with representatives of other Hubs such as the Portugal Blue Digital Hub or Oost NL and learn about successful initiatives of other DIHs. In addition, the meeting between all the EDIHs of Spain and the Project Officer of the European Union (EU) also took place, which was focused on the topic of AI and the plan of activities for the coming months.
